New Chaplain for The Order

New Chaplain for The Order

We are delighted to announce the appointment of their new Chaplain, the Revd Lynn Purvis-Lee.

Lynn had this to say about her appointment:

‘Having been nurtured and supported by the order over my 22 years of ordained ministry, it’s a privilege and a blessing to be able to support them in turn as chaplain. I look forward to journeying with them in prayer and friendship’.

The Archbishop of York, who will be licensing Lynn at the Priory on 20 October, said,

‘I am very much looking forward to my first visit to the Priory as Archbishop. The faithful prayer and service of the sisters of the OHP are hugely appreciated by me and so many others, and I celebrate with them as they welcome their new chaplain’.

The Prioress, Sr. Jocelyn said, ‘The Order has known Lynn for many years and she joins us after a varied career in parish and chaplaincy ministry.
