Over the Summer, Sisters Alberta and Sabina (pictured above as novices, with Sisters Aba and Mavis) were based at the Priory for three months. During that time they applied to take Life Vows. Chapter elected them to Life Profession, and arrangements were made for their Life Professions to take place once they had returned to Ghana.
Sister Alberta will be making her Life Vows on the feast of Candlemas, 2nd February, in Jachie. The Archbishop of the Internal province of Ghana and Bishop of Kumasi, The Most Revd Dr Daniel Sarfo, will be there to receive her Vows.
Sister Sabina will be making her Life Vows on Saturday 16th February, in Sunyani. The Bishop of Sunyani, The Rt Revd Dr Festus Yeboah-Asuamah, will be there to receive her Vows.
Sister Dorothy Stella flew out to Ghana on Monday 28th January to be present for the Professions.
While we cannot all be present with them, we are supporting Sisters Alberta and Sabina in prayer, and will be holding our own Ghanian-themed celebrations on the days of their Vows.
